Apparently Killer whales have been spotted just off the coast of Newquay and our neighbouring town Padstow. Several people are claiming to have seen the whales over the last few days and it is indeed a rare site in this part of the world.
Newquay felt the full force of Monday’s rain as the heavens opened for most of the day.
People were reported to be “wading through” sewage at Marcus Hill as it came through a manhole and poured down the hill.
The rain also affected roads around Trenance Boating Lake with large amounts of surface water.
